With this illustration series I tried to create specific car types/characters that can be instantly connected to their real-world references while still maintaining a original and cool car design.
The numbers are random and don't have any meaning (aside no. 89 maybe) The chosen colors and complimenting graphics are there to support the cars character and build a distinctive composition.
